Professional Biography:

Dr. Angelo Petropolis has been providing dermatology services to Sierra Vista and Cochise County for over 18 years. He was trained in Dermatology at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio Texas. He is trained in general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and laser surgery. He is board certified in both internal medicine and dermatology, however, his practice is limited to dermatology. Dr. Petropolis is Chief, Section of Dermatology, Sierra Vista Regional Health Center. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Division of Clinical Education Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He is a Fellow and former board member of the American Society for Mohs Surgery. He has extensive experience in the treatment of skin cancer.  Special interests include skin cancer treatment, Mohs surgery, and the treatment of aging skin to include lasers, intense pulsed light, Blu-U / photodynamic therapy, injectable fillers, and botulinum toxin. He is also directly involved in the training of dermatology and internal medicine residents, medical students, and physician assistants.

Amy Weierman, PA-C

Experience:
Amy is originally from Joliet, Illinois and has been practicing as a Physician Assistant since 2008. She worked in internal medicine and emergency medicine prior to specializing in dermatology in September 2010.  She completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Diplomate program in September, 2012.  Before pursuing a career in medicine, Amy served five years in the U.S. Navy as a foreign language cryptologic technician.  As a Naval Aircrew member with VQ-2 squadron, she was awarded the Armed Forces Air Medal for participation in Operation Provide Promise in support of UN peacekeeping efforts in the former Yugoslavia.

Sherry Tuttle, CMA

Clinical Supervisor, Mohs Histotechnician

Sherry began working for Dr. Petropolis in 1996 when her diverse training and skill in both the front and back office was an added benefit.  Today you will find her busy with her duties as our Clinical Supervisor, a member of our team of Certified Medical Assistants, and she is one of our two MOHS Histotechnicians.  Sherry enjoys her life here in Sierra Vista, with her husband and two sons.

Matthew Crosby, DO

Professional Biography:

Dr. Matthew Crosby is an Arizona native. He completed his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in biology. He then graduated in the top 10% of his medical school class at Midwestern University. Following his internship at a community hospital in central Pennsylvania, he served for 3 years as a flight surgeon for the United States Air Force. He is excited to be back home in Arizona, and to learn the practice of dermatology under the guidance of Dr. Petropolis and his staff.
